With the opening of their new restaurant close by, targeting professionals and groups looking for a contemporary place to dine; our client needed to differentiate their existing restaurant to maintain market share.

solution

We defined the unique positioning and then refreshed the existing brand to a clearly defined target segment. Concepts to allow people to experience the brand inside and outside the restaurant were then designed. This included changing the flow for diners to provide them with a better experience, applying the new look & feel to the décor & signage, and rewriting the creative for the radio advertising.

result

Our client received positive feedback from their regular customers and have increased market share over time since the rebrand was successfully rolled out from August 2012. The restaurant is now also significantly more visible from the busier side of the street.
